We are working with a cutting‑edge AI‑powered cloud finance optimization platform that helps businesses reduce cloud costs through automation and machine learning. Their AI‑driven tools provide real‑time insights, cost‑saving strategies, and automated financial operations.
RoleAs a Backend Engineer, you will build and optimize the systems that power real‑time financial insights and automation. This role involves backend development, data ingestion, and infrastructure work, collaborating closely with data and ML engineers in a fast‑paced, product‑driven environment. Other responsibilities include:
- Develop scalable backend services and APIs in Python.
- Design and maintain ETL pipelines and data ingestion workflows.
- Work with large‑scale data using SQL and cloud‑based tools.
- Deploy and manage infrastructure using AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Contribute to infrastructure as code and CI/CD processes.
- Strong experience in Python, AWS, SQL, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Experience building ETL pipelines and ingesting large data volumes.
- Solid software engineering and data infrastructure skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, high‑growth environment.
- Background in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields preferred.
- Excellent communication skills and a hands‑on approach to solving complex problems.
Base salary of $170,000 - $190,000 plus equity, 401(k), health, dental, and vision benefits.
