About the Role
KR Mangalam School is seeking an experienced and dedicated  Admission Counselor  to manage the full cycle of student admissions and guide prospective parents/students through the school’s academic offerings, admission policies, and enrollment process. The ideal candidate must have prior experience in school admissions and counseling with excellent communication skills, strong follow-up abilities, and a customer-focused approach.

Key Responsibilities
Act as the first point of contact for prospective parents and students for admission inquiries.
Provide detailed information regarding school programs, curriculum, fee structure, admission criteria, campus facilities, and policies.
Facilitate campus tours and ensure a positive experience for parents and visitors.
Manage and process admission applications, maintain accurate documentation, and oversee enrollment formalities.
Follow up with leads through calls, emails, Whats App, and walk-ins to ensure inquiry-to-admission conversion.
Maintain updated records in CRM/ERP, generate MIS reports, and submit weekly dashboards to management.
Coordinate with academic departments, finance, administration, and marketing teams for seamless onboarding and orientation.
Participate in admission campaigns, open houses, school fairs, and outreach activities to build brand visibility and strengthen admission pipelines.
Handle parent queries professionally and maintain strong relationships throughout the admission lifecycle.
Ensure compliance with school policies, timelines, and admission protocols.
Required Skills & Competencies
Excellent verbal & written communication skills.
Strong interpersonal and relationship-building abilities.
Experience working with school admission procedures & documentation.
Proficiency in MS Office, CRM systems, and reporting.
Strong follow-up and negotiation skills.
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work under timelines.
Professional and calm approach while handling parent queries.
Must have more than 2 years of experience in k12 Counselling.
