Position: Academic Advisor (L1) - Student Onboarding Team
The  Indian Institute of Art & Design (IIAD) , New Delhi, is inviting applications for the position of  Academic Advisor (L1) - Student Onboarding Team  to join our  Admissions & Outreach Team . We are seeking dynamic and motivated professionals who are passionate about guiding students in their academic journey and contributing to the growth of a premier design education institution.

Designation:  Academic Advisor (L1) - Student Onboarding Team
Name of the Institution:  Indian Institute of Art and Design (IIAD)

Location:

B-26, Okhla Estate Marg, Pocket B, Okhla Phase I, New Delhi, Delhi 110020

Working Hours:

Timings 9.00 a.m – 6.00 pm Monday to Saturday (timings may vary as per requirement)
1.Two weekly offs per week, as per the roster planned by the Manager
2.Sunday is a mandatory working day

Work Experience:

Minimum 1 year (Freshers with exceptional qualities may also be considered).

Education:

Graduate/Undergraduate, preferably with a short-term professional or vocational qualification

Job Description:

The  Advisor  plays a key role in guiding prospective students through the admissions process at the  Indian Institute of Art and Design (IIAD) . This position involves engaging with students and parents, providing detailed information about academic programs, and assisting candidates in making informed decisions.
The Candidate is expected to demonstrate reasonable number of skills and maturity in the following:

● Build and maintain professional relationships with schools and key stakeholders including Principals, School Counselors, Educators, and Students.

● Handle high-volume outbound and inbound calls to prospective students and clients.

● Make outbound calls per day and service assigned leads to meet productivity targets.

● Conduct first-level counseling, provide accurate information about courses/programs, and assess eligibility.

● Ensure timely touchpoints, accurate data validation, and smooth movement of prospects into the application pipeline.

● Generating and nurture leads, convert inquiries into successful applications, that subsequently helps L2 and L3 achieve admission targets of the University.

● Maintain consistent follow-ups with interested prospects to maximize conversions into Applications from Leads.

● Respond promptly to inbound inquiries and resolve queries effectively.

● Update and manage prospective student data accurately in the CRM system after every interaction.

● Track daily, weekly, and monthly performance against assigned KPIs and conversion targets.

● Coordinate with internal teams to ensure seamless processing and handover of applications.

● Maintain professional, positive, and student-centric communication at all times.

● Work in a structured, target-driven environment with defined productivity and performance goals.

Required Skills & Abilities:
The Advisor is the face of the Institute and should possess and exhibit the following skills and abilities:

● Decent communication skills in English & Hindi (written and spoken) with strong interpersonal and professional conduct.

● Strong persuasion, negotiation, listening, and objection-handling skills.

● Target-oriented, self-driven, and able to work independently as well as in a team.

● Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) with good email etiquette and CRM familiarity.

● Strong time management, organizational skills, and ability to handle calls outbound and inbound.

● Conduct first-level counseling, eligibility screening, and accurate data validation.

● Ensure timely follow-ups, CRM updates, smooth handovers, and movement of qualified prospects into the application pipeline while meeting defined KPIs.

Salary:  20-25k/month (Negotiable and commensurate with skills and qualifications).
