Junior Study Abroad Counselor

Role Description
We are seeking a motivated Junior Study Abroad Counsellor with expertise in European countries and the UK. The counsellor will guide students in exploring international education opportunities, assist with admission processes, and provide accurate advice on visa procedures. This role requires maintaining up-to-date knowledge of global education systems, building strong relationships with students and institutions, and ensuring successful placements.

Key Responsibilities
Counsel and advise students on study options in European countries and the UK through Calls, Video Meets and In Person.
Assess students’ academic backgrounds and recommend suitable courses and universities.
Guide students through the application, admission, and visa processes.
Stay updated on the latest education systems, visa regulations, and admission trends.
Build and maintain strong relationships with international universities/colleges.
Maintain student records and track progress throughout the application cycle.
Participate in seminars, events, and education fairs to promote study abroad opportunities.
Provide excellent customer service and ensure a smooth end-to-end experience for students.

Qualifications & Requirements
2-3 years of work experience  in student counselling, preferably focused on Europe and the UK.

Strong knowledge of international education systems and visa requirements for Europe and the UK.
Bachelor’s degree in Education, Counseling, International Relations, or a related field (preferred).
Proficiency in English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
Prior experience in immigration or educational consultancy is an advantage.
