Role Overview
We are looking for a customer-facing Check Point Presales Engineer to support Tech Data’s cybersecurity business in the Delhi NCR region. The role is highly presales-oriented, revenue-aligned, and focuses on solution designing, demonstrations, proof of concepts (PoCs), and partner enablement.
The candidate will act as a technical consultant and subject matter expert for Check Point security solutions and will work closely with internal sales teams and channel partners to drive business growth.
Key Responsibilities
Act as the Presales Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for all Check Point related opportunities in the assigned region
Understand customer requirements and provide appropriate solution architecture and design
Deliver technical presentations, product demonstrations, and Proof of Concepts (PoCs)
Support preparation of RFQs, BOQs, sizing, and technical solution documentation
Collaborate closely with sales teams and channel partners to drive opportunities
Provide technical guidance and enablement to partners
Carry presales-linked targets based on deal influence and technical closures
Required Skills & Competencies
Strong understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, routing, firewall concepts)
Hands-on or presales experience with Check Point Firewall technologies
Ability to understand customer requirements and propose effective solutions
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Strong documentation and technical articulation abilities
Customer-facing and consultative approach
Certifications (Good to Have)
Check Point CCSA – Preferred
Check Point CCSE – Highly Preferred
