ABOUT THE ROLE:
Tech jockey's E-Seller Hub is scaling its branding advertising model — offering SaaS and AI-native companies high-intent, in-market visibility through CPM/CPC placements across India's largest B2B software marketplace. As Pre-Sales Executive, you will own the very top of this funnel: identifying, prospecting, and warming up OEM brand marketers and senior marketing decision makers, so that the Partnerships team can walk into every meeting with a fully prepped, conversation-ready lead.
This role demands a rare combination of sharp tele-calling instincts, fluency in the India SaaS ecosystem, and hands-on command of modern prospecting and AI automation tools. If you thrive on research, hustle, and the discipline of building a clean pipeline every single day, this is your seat.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Tele-Calling & Outreach
- Conduct high-volume tele-calling (60–80 dials/day) targeting brand marketers, CMOs, and VP-Performance Marketing personas at SaaS and AI-native companies across India.
Deliver a crisp, compelling 60-second pitch for Tech jockey's CPM/CPC branding model; adapt messaging based on company stage, category, and recent triggers.
Handle first-level objections with confidence; qualify or disqualify leads fast and move conversations toward a meeting booking without stalling the funnel.
Lead Generation & Data Fetching
- Source, build, and continuously enrich prospect lists using Apollo.io, Linked In Sales Navigator, Zoom Info, and Crunchbase; ensure all contacts carry verified emails, direct dials, and firmographic context.
Segment and prioritise lists by company size (250–1,000 employees), category fit, funding stage, and recency of growth signals.
Maintain strict contact hygiene — dedup, bounce management, and CRM data integrity are non-negotiable.
SaaS Market Intelligence
- Monitor India SaaS and AI sector news daily — funding rounds (Series A–C), product launches, leadership hires, and new market entries — using Tracxn, Dealroom, YC announcements, and Tech Crunch alerts.
Convert market signals into personalised outreach hooks; a recently funded company is not just a new lead, it is a time-bound opportunity that demands the right message within days.
Share a weekly market intelligence digest with the Partnerships team covering new-to-radar companies and relevant trigger events.
Mass Email Campaigns
- Build and manage multi-touch email sequences using Instantly, Lemlist, Mailshake, or Smartlead; set up automated follow-up cadences with personalisation tokens.
A/B test subject lines, preview text, and CTAs; track open rate, click rate, and reply rate, and iterate weekly to improve deliverability and engagement.
Maintain domain health — monitor spam scores, rotate sending accounts, and comply with cold email best practices to protect Tech jockey's sender reputation.
AI Agent & Automation Tools
- Use Clay, n8n, Make, or similar workflow automation tools to automate list building, data enrichment, and personalised outreach ly AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity) to draft first-pass outreach copy, research company backgrounds, and generate personalised email openers in bulk.
Proactively identify new AI tools that can improve output quality or reduce manual effort; share learnings with the team.
Pipeline Management & Handoff
- Maintain a clean, up-to-date CRM pipeline in Hub Spot or Salesforce — every call, email, and interaction logged within 24 hours.
