Job Description
We are seeking a skilled  SAP MDG Consultant – Material Master  with 3+ years of relevant experience in SAP MDG and strong expertise in Material Master Data processes. The selected candidate will be responsible for supporting Master Data Governance initiatives, managing change requests, and ensuring high-quality Material Master data across the organization.

Key Responsibilities
Work as an SAP MDG Functional Consultant with a focus on the Material Master (MDG-M) domain.
Manage SAP Material Master Data Governance processes, including:
Material creation, extension, and change requests.
Data validation and approval workflows.
Configure and support MDG data models, UI configurations, and process workflows.
Develop and maintain BRF+ rules and validations to ensure master data quality.
Participate in the complete Change Request (CR) lifecycle, including creation, approval, and activation.
Support Data Replication Framework (DRF) processes and integration with downstream systems.
Perform data analysis, cleansing, harmonization, and governance activities.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and provide effective solutions.
Prepare functional specifications for enhancements and support development activities.
Handle incident management, defect resolution, and user support queries.
Support Unit Testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities.
Work closely with cross-functional teams including MM, S/4

HANA, and Integration teams.
Required Skills & Expertise
Primary Skills
Strong hands-on experience in SAP MDG – Material Master.
Familiarity with MDG Web Portal/UI.
Good understanding of SAP Material Master concepts:
Material Types
Material Views
Number Range Management
Plant and Storage Location Extensions
Classification and Hierarchies
Experience in MDG Data Modeling, UI Modeling, and Process Modeling.
Knowledge of BRF+ Rules and Workflow Configuration.
Understanding of Change Request processes and governance workflows.
Secondary / Nice-to-Have Skills
Knowledge of Data Replication Framework (DRF).
Basic understanding of ABAP Enhancements and BAdIs.
Experience integrating SAP MDG with ECC or other SAP/non-SAP systems.
Exposure to MDG Web Portal configurations and support.
Experience & Qualifications
Minimum 3+ years of SAP MDG experience, preferably in Material Master Governance.
Experience in at least one SAP MDG implementation or support project.
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
