Group Head - IT

Position Responsibilities
1.Technology Vision & Strategy:
Develop and implement a technology plan  aligned with the school's overall strategic goals. This might include areas like infrastructure, software, learning platforms, and data security.
Stay informed about emerging technologies  and assess their potential to enhance teaching, learning, and administration.
Promote the effective use of technology  across all departments and grade levels.
2. Infrastructure & Operations:
Ensure the reliable operation and maintenance of all IT infrastructure , including networks, servers, devices, and software.
Oversee IT support services  to address the needs of students, teachers, and staff.
Manage IT budgets and resources effectively .
Implement robust cybersecurity measures  to protect sensitive data and systems.
3. Learning & Teaching:
Support the integration of technology into the curriculum  by providing professional development for teachers and identifying appropriate digital resources.
Evaluate the effectiveness of technology-based learning initiatives.
Oversee the management of student information systems and learning platforms.
Explore and implement innovative approaches to digital learning , such as online courses, blended learning, and personalized learning.
4. Communication &

Collaboration:

Communicate effectively with stakeholders  about technology initiatives and updates.
Collaborate with school leaders, teachers, and parents  to ensure technology is used effectively to support student learning.
Build strong relationships with technology vendors and partners.
