ABOUT
THE ROLE
We are looking for a Writing Assistant to support the development of a long-term book project. This project explores society, systems, and human behaviour, with a particular focus on the role of emotions in shaping the world around us.
We are looking for someone who loves writing, enjoys exploring big ideas, and is curious about how concepts from history, psychology, and philosophy can connect to present-day questions.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Conduct research across history, psychology, philosophy, and social systems.
Explore and analyse the nature and characteristics of emotions.
Support drafting and editing of manuscript chapters.
Summarise complex ideas into clear and accessible language.
Assist with fact-checking, organisation, and maintaining stylistic consistency.
Contribute to brainstorming and framing of new sections.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Strong interest in writing and society.
Curiosity about philosophy, history, psychology, and systemic thinking.
Good writing and analytical skills.
Self-motivated and open to long-form intellectual projects.
Both students and others interested in part-time roles are welcome to apply.
COMMITMENT
Hybrid and flexible.
Time commitment (hours per week) can be discussed.
Long-term internship (3-6 months preferred).
