To maintain optimal stock levels across stores in the assigned region to support the achievement of both store-level and regional sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:
Stock Management
Plan stock for new stores in alignment with category budgets and existing regional stock.
Prepare DLs and coordinate with PSC to ensure stock availability for festivals and promotions.
Track and manage stock levels across categories to prevent overstocking or shortages.
Monitor sell-through and facilitate rebuys based on stock analysis and market feedback.
Highlight stores with stock issues and ensure effective merchandise deployment.
Organize inter-store stock transfers for slow-moving products and sizes to meet customer demand.
Provide regular product feedback to PSC.
Develop and implement seasonal buying grids for each store.
Inventory Management
Support the regional inventory process.
Ensure accurate stock adjustments at stores post-inventory.
Promotions at the Region
Prepare store-wise and region-wise promotion calendars.
Market Interaction
Regularly interact with store managers and section in-charges to understand stock movement challenges and relay feedback to MRH.
Conduct store visits to analyze trends, customer preferences, and demand patterns; share insights with PSC and MRH.
Support store teams during peak selling seasons.
MIS and Reporting
Conduct regular analysis of sales and stock at region, store, and category levels.
Prepare various reports on a daily, weekly, fortnightly, and monthly basis
Teamwork
Collaborate across departments to enhance productivity.
Exhibit teamwork towards achieving common objectives.
Adhere to Fabindia grooming standards and code of conduct.
Knowledge & Skill Required
3–5 years of experience in retail planning within the apparel or lifestyle industry.
Educational
Qualification:
MBA / MFM - NIFT/Pearl
Knowledge of Fabindia products, markets, and geography
Buying, category planning, and product positioning
Market trends, customer behavior, and research methodology
Inventory management, budget allocation, and space efficiency (SPF)
Basic planogram and logistics planning
Results-driven, innovative, and customer-focused
Strong decision-making, planning, analytical, teamwork, and communication skills
