Position: Category Manager – Home
About the Organisation
Beverly Hills Polo Club  continues to expand its lifestyle footprint beyond apparel into Home and Living. The objective is to build a cohesive, premium home assortment that complements the brand’s fashion identity while delivering strong retail productivity.

The Role
We are hiring a Category Manager – Home  to operate as the commercial owner of the Home portfolio. You will be responsible for building the range, sourcing products, planning buys, and ensuring profitable sell-through across channels.
This is a  category P&L management role , not a coordination function.

Scope & Responsibilities
Category Planning & Assortment Strategy

• Build seasonal line plans across bedding, bath, textiles, décor, and lifestyle SKUs

• Define SKU counts, depth logic, and good/better/best price ladders

• Balance evergreen continuity products with seasonal newness

• Tailor assortments by format and region

Buying & Inventory Management

• Plan buys aligned to OTB and demand forecasts

• Manage intake calendars and replenishment cycles

• Track cover, turns, and sell-through weekly

• Reduce ageing and dead stock exposure

Vendor & Sourcing Control

• Identify and onboard domestic/international vendors

• Negotiate costing, MOQs, lead times, and quality benchmarks

• Ensure product quality, packaging standards, and compliance

Commercial Performance

• Track category KPIs: sales, margin %, stock turns, ageing, markdown impact

• Recommend pricing and promo strategies

• Drive productivity per door and per sq ft

Cross-Functional Execution

• Partner with VM/Marketing on storytelling and launches

• Work with planning and supply chain for smooth stock flow

• Support store teams with product knowledge

Experience & Qualification
6–10 years in Home/Lifestyle category management
Strong sourcing and costing exposure
Retail-first commercial mindset
