Role Overview
Play All is looking for a field-oriented Community Engagement Executive (Football) with strong playing experience and a deep understanding of football skills and game nuances. The role focuses on building and managing football communities, running pickup games, and officiating matches to ensure fair play and rule compliance.
The ideal candidate is someone who has played football extensively, understands informal and semi-competitive football ecosystems, and can confidently manage games and players on the field.
Key Responsibilities
1. Community Football Engagement
Build and nurture an active football-playing community at assigned Play All venues.
Engage with players, captains, and local football groups to encourage repeat participation.
Maintain a positive, disciplined, and inclusive football environment.
2. Pickup Games & Match Management
Manage regular pickup games (5v5 / 6v6 / 7v7 formats).
Balance teams, manage rotations, and ensure smooth game flow.
Enforce basic rules, discipline, and safety during games.
Act as the on-ground authority during pickup matches.
3. Refereeing – Tournaments & Events
Referee matches during Play All-organized tournaments, leagues, and open events.
Ensure strict adherence to football rules and fair play.
Manage fouls, disputes, and match decisions professionally.
Maintain control and discipline on the field at all times.
No responsibility for tournament planning, registrations, scheduling, or execution.
4. Rule Adherence & Game Governance
Ensure players follow match rules, safety protocols, and sportsmanship standards.
Handle on-field conflicts calmly and decisively.
Protect the integrity and quality of the game experience.
5. Feedback & Community Insights
Collect player feedback to improve game formats and engagement.
Share insights with the operations team to strengthen community participation.
Required Skills & Experience
Strong playing experience in football (academy / college / club / community level).
Proven experience playing and managing pickup football games.
Solid understanding of football rules and refereeing principles.
Prior refereeing experience in local tournaments or leagues (preferred).
Strong communication, leadership, and conflict-management skills.
Willingness to work evenings, nights, and weekends.
