Position: Teacher Assistant High

We are looking for two Teacher Assistants for term positions, each 5.5 hours daily, starting September 1, 2026. The role includes supporting students with personal care needs and behavior management under teacher supervision. Candidates should possess strong communication skills and a commitment to fostering a respectful learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist students with personal care and mobility challenges

• Support diverse learning needs in a safe environment

• Administer medication as required

• Encourage positive student interactions and respectful behavior

• Record observations and data as directed by teachers

Requirements:

• High school completion certificate or equivalent

• Minimum 2-year relevant course with Special Education component

• Certification in First Aid and CPR

• Relevant healthcare support training

• Basic computer skills and knowledge of assistive technology
