Position: Behaviour Support Teacher Role at SSRCE
Enhance educational outcomes as a Behaviour Support Teacher at the South Shore Regional Centre for Education’s New Germany Rural High School. Focus on tailored interventions for diverse learners.

The SSRCE is inviting applications for a 100% term position starting August 1, 2026. The ideal candidate will possess an NS teaching license, a Master’s in Inclusive Education, and at least five years of teaching experience.

Experience with various teaching strategies and effective communication are crucial for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create and support Individual Program Plans for students

• Assist in implementing MTSS strategies and assessments

• Collaborate with teachers on cross-curricular activities

• Facilitate evidence-based programming at multiple tiers

• Comply with education regulations and safety requirements

Requirements:

• Valid NS teaching license and relevant graduate degree

• 5+ years experience with diverse student needs

• Specialized training in behavioral supports and technology

• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

• Completion of necessary security checks
