Proteomics Applications Scientist SCIEX

Shape customer-facing proteomics applications with SCIEX in Concord, Canada. Use mass spectrometry, method validation, and experimental data to address defined requirements.

This Staff Scientist supports the SCIEX Center of Excellence by delivering complex analytical workflow demonstrations. You will develop methods, SOPs, benchmark studies, and reference datasets for reproducible results. The work also connects customer evaluations with product, commercial, and application priorities.

• Tailor advanced omics workflows to customer needs and success criteria
• Maintain protocols, instrument configurations, data quality, and acceptance criteria
• Lead complex workflow troubleshooting through technical coaching
• Plan external evaluations and scientific collaborations with thought leaders
• Partner with Commercial, R&D, Product Management, and Quality teams

• Degree in chemistry, biochemistry, life sciences, or related discipline
• 20+ years with bachelor’s, 10+ with master’s, or 7+ with PhD
• Hands-on complex sample preparation across diverse biological sample types
• Customer-facing scientific presentation experience using experimental data
• Controlled documentation experience, including SOPs and validation summaries
