Reporting to the Chief Power Engineer, you'll be responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing various plant systems, including boilers and chillers, ensuring compliance with the Nova Scotia Boiler & Pressure Equipment Regulations. You'll be tasked with overseeing energy production during your shifts while all typical maintenance operations will be conducted under regulatory guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain and repair steam plant equipment
• Conduct general facility maintenance as needed
• Oversee energy production during working hours
• Ensure compliance with safety and labor codes
• Collaborate with the team on various site projects
Requirements:
• Certification as a Third Class Power Engineer
• Knowledge of building mechanical systems
• Previous experience in building maintenance
• Ability to work independently
• Willingness to travel for site needs
