The opportunity

The successful candidate will work in a team of multi-disciplinary professionals with strong mentorship. The business unit, which operates with the full breadth of Michelin’s resources, delivers a specialized product line to its global internal customers with entrepreneurial spirit.

Responsibilities include:

  • taking part in quality planning for products, materials, processes and methods;
  • establishing and implementing quality standards and ensuring compliance;
  • defining and implementing corrective and preventative action plans for improvement;
  • designing and carrying out tests to evaluate changes with raw materials, equipment, automation and/or overall process;
  • participating in quality planning, including feasibility studies;
  • participating in product start-ups and evolutions;
  • participating in projects and teams to resolve quality issues;
  • acting as a liaison between local and global customers to resolve issues;
  • supporting operations by monitoring production quality, performance, and maintenance problems and participating in necessary corrections;
  • and, assisting in maintaining the product model.
What you will bring:
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical or Process Engineering, or equivalent
  • 1-3 years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting is preferred
  • strong mechanical awareness and the ability to work comfortably around mechanical equipment
  • the ability to develop digital tools
  • and, fully fluent in English and French (spoken and written)
