Nurse Practitioner in Urgent Care Clinic

The Nurse Practitioner will operate in a multi-site urgent care environment, diagnosing various conditions and managing both acute and chronic illnesses. You will conduct rapid assessments and collaborate with other healthcare providers to ensure holistic patient care. This role requires working flexible hours, including days, evenings, and weekends, based on clinical needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct health assessments and diagnose diseases

• Treat and manage acute and chronic illnesses

• Perform follow-up assessments via in-person or virtual visits

• Collaborate with healthcare providers in the clinic

• Maintain patient records and documentation accurately

Requirements:

• Recognized Nurse Practitioner program completion

• Current registration with Newfoundland & Labrador College of Nurses

• Minimum five years nursing experience, including NP role

• Current BCLS Certification

• Valid Class 5 Driver's License and access to a vehicle
