On-Call Letter Carrier Post

Canada Post is looking for two On-Call Letter Carriers to assist with deliveries in New Glasgow. This role involves sorting mail, loading postal vehicles, and delivering items by foot or vehicle. On-call work offers flexibility and various shift opportunities, helping you grow within Canada Post's operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Start the day by sorting and preparing deliveries

• Load and drive Canada Post vehicles for deliveries

• Deliver mail and packages along your route

• Return to depot to unload incoming mail and parcels

• Support other delivery needs as required

Requirements:

• Valid Class 5 or Class G driver’s license

• Physical ability to lift up to 22.7 kg regularly

• Availability for flexible on-call shifts

• Proficiency in English and/or French

• Customer service or driving experience is an asset
