As a Site Supervisor/Quality Foreman, you will oversee all phases of construction, ensuring that each project adheres to industry standards and our high-quality benchmarks. This position requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage subcontractors effectively while maintaining a safe and organized job site. This is primarily a management position, and physical work will only be permitted with prior authorization from Senior Management.
- Daily Reports:
Provide end-of-day reports to the Project Manager and Assistant Project Manager. - Site Protection:
Ensure all staff and subcontractors wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and enforce job site safety protocols according to the SDP Site Safety Manual. - Daily Oversight:
Be the first to arrive on-site and the last to leave each day. - Job Site Cleanliness:
Maintain a clean and organized job site at all times, ensuring it is dust‑free and food‑free. - Project Schedule Management:
Collaborate with the Project Manager to maintain an updated project schedule, adjusting to project status changes while meeting cost and time constraints. - Communication:
Facilitate communication with the project team regarding Architectural Supplemental Instructions (ASIs), Requests for Information (RFIs), and material submissions. - Quality Control:
Manage the project process and quality in accordance with established plans and specifications. - Subcontractor Management:
Supervise on‑site personnel and subcontractors, ensuring positive working relationships. - Workmanship Standards:
Ensure that all workmanship meets high-quality standards. - Regulatory Knowledge:
Understand and apply relevant building codes, safety guidelines, and regulations in construction. - Liaison Role:
Act as a liaison between the Assistant Project Manager and field staff. - Daily Inspections:
Conduct daily safety inspections to uphold safety standards. - Equipment Understanding:
Possess knowledge of construction equipment for inspection, operation, and maintenance purposes. - Constructability
Collaboration:
Work alongside the project manager to identify and address issues during the preconstruction phase. - Punch List Management:
Maintain the punch list process to ensure timely resolution of outstanding items. - Safety Meetings:
Conduct weekly job site safety meetings in accordance with the company’s safety program. - Required Skills and Qualifications:
Extensive knowledge of safety procedures and regulations, experience in managing and developing people, and project experience that includes ground‑up construction, renovation work, and familiarity with high‑end finishes. - Training Requirements:
Unrestricted Supervisor’s License (CSL), OSHA 30 certification, SDP Safety Certification, and Scaffolding training.
