Childrens’ Dental Center of New Hampshire is looking for a Orthodontic Assistant in Amherst, New Hampshire to assist our clinical team by providing a high level of patient care and satisfaction while operating in a team-based environment.

Position Overview: As an Orthodontic Assistant you will play a key role in delivering exceptional patient care by assisting the doctor in orthodontic procedures, treatment planning, and patient education. You will help maintain a well-organized practice by preparing treatment rooms, sterilizing instruments, assisting in procedures and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

Compensation for this role is $22.00 – $26.00 per hour

Responsibilities
  • Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments for orthodontic procedures.
  • Assist the doctor with patient treatment, positioning instruments, and handling orthodontic appliances.
  • Educate patients on treatment plans, post-procedure care, and oral hygiene.
  • Manage patient scheduling and assist with front-office tasks as needed.
  • Support dentists and staff with treatment planning, billing, and insurance matters.
  • Ensure accurate submission of expenses and invoices.
  • Maintain office inventory, including supplies and equipment.
  • Address patient and employee concerns professionally.
  • Contribute to a positive, team-oriented work environment.
Qualifications
  • Must have at least 1 year of hands on experience
  • Strong organizational and problem solving skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent
