Bulwell and Top Valley Primary Care Network (lead employer: Rise Park Surgery) is recruiting enthusiastic and motivated Salaried GPs to join our new PCN Urgent Care Service launching in April 2026. We are seeking several GPs to work 4 sessions per week
, delivering high quality early evening urgent care across our network.
We welcome applications from both experienced and newly qualified/early career GPs.
Annual leave entitlement will be 30 days plus statutory bank holidays and 5 days study leave (pro rata).

Main duties of the jobYou will provide safe, effective, and evidence based care through face to face and telephone consultations for same day urgent appointments. Sessions will take place at the Riverlyn site in Bulwell, with appointments offered to patients from all practices within the network.
This role is well suited to GPs seeking focused clinical work with minimal administrative burden
. Clinical duties will include:
- Prescribing
- Ordering investigations
- Making referrals when required
You will consult primarily using Systm One
, with access to EMIS Web for patients from other practices.
Furthermore, the post holder will adhere to the GMC standards for good medical practice, contributing to the effective management of the PCN, leading by example, maintaining a positive, collaborative working relationship with the multidisciplinary team.
