Overview
Students Only at FPU:
Literacy Initiative Assistant 25-26
- Assist with the administration of several (4-5) after-school activities per semester for the Jaffrey-Rindge school district leading up to a Literacy Evening event at the schools.
- Assistants will work with the students to help with after-school activities as planned in coordination with Literacy Initiative Coordinators.
- Help supervise and administer activities at the Literacy celebration events.
- The majority of work will be in the late afternoon/early evening, for meetings, training, and administration of the after-school events.
- Must be a Federal Work Study eligible student.
- An interest in working with elementary aged youth and in an educational setting is a plus.
- Open to all majors, not just education majors.
- Access to a vehicle is preferred, but not a requirement.
- Employment is contingent upon completion of a satisfactory criminal background check.
