ABA Clinical Specialist

ABA Clinical Specialist role at Oyster River Cooperative School District. Immediate Opening for an ABA Clinical Specialist at Mast Way. The Oyster River Cooperative School District is seeking an ABA Clinical Specialist to work at Mast Way Elementary School. This position will support students by providing direct and indirect services and support based on the students individual education plans (IEP) under the direction of a certified teacher or licensed professional.

Deliver and implement behavioral and education programming and support.

• Implement instructional and behavioral plans
• Deliver and implement ABA strategies based on student programming
• Model ABA methodologies and principles for school personnel
• Collect data and create graphs/displays of target behaviors and skills
• Model and support crisis management intervention when needed
• Provide a safe environment, supervise students, and accommodate students medical/physical needs
• Instruct and or assist students in basic life skills, general behavior, and organizational skills
• Support students with use of computers, adaptive devices, and all augmentative communications
• Assist and/or instruct student(s) as required in activities of daily living to include but not limited to: toileting, self-care, eating, communication, changing classes, wheel chair transport and transfer, and use of special equipment, with proper training
• Maintain communication and collaboration
• Maintain the highest standards of professionalism
