Responsible for project management for new installations, equipment modifications, process troubleshooting, and other tasks as needed. Provide technical assistance and engineering expertise to the plant.

• Provide technical assistance as required to ensure projects are complete and have long-term benefits to the company.
• Accountable for project budget, tracking costs, ensures project come in or under budget, if project will be running over budget, submit appropriate justification for approval prior to overspending.
• Work with vendors to develop cost effective solutions to problems.
• Order materials for projects to ensure timely completion of projects.
• Evaluate execution of work from a safety aspect so all involved are adequately protected.
• Meet with contractor supervisors to verify progress and cost of projects.
• Work with the departments in the plant to identify, develop, design and implement projects that will improve safety, quality productivity and cost.
• Schedule / coordinate labor and maintenance department on projects and overhauls.
• Report possible operating issues impacting safety, environment, production, and or waste.
• Work with the maintenance department to resolve operational issues.
• Update management on project work being performed and communicate established schedules and requirements.
• Maintain drawings and generate new drawings for projects in maintenance and engineering department.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering
• Three (3) to Five (5) years in an engineering role preferably in manufacturing
• Strong project planning skills to include multiple projects.
• Excellent computer skills to include MS Office, MS Project, SAP, Maximo, AutoCAD
• Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
• PMP Certification

Failure to deliver required materials, labor, or equipment can cause costly delays in the project(s). Must be able to manage a project budget from start to finish.

Project responsibility will range in scope from $10,000 to $150,000
