Water/Wastewater Superintendent
The Town of Antrim Water & Sewer Department seeks a full-time Water/Wastewater Superintendent to serve as the Operator in Responsible Charge (ORC).
This position involves responsible technical, administrative, and supervisory work for the operation, maintenance, and process control of a 0.210 MGD wastewater treatment facility, three (3) sewer pump stations, wastewater collection systems serving Antrim and Bennington, and two (2) gravel pack wells for public water systems. Equipment includes pipelines, valves, fire hydrants, pumps, meters, computer systems, and ArcGIS mapping software.
Pay is commensurate with experience, training, and licenses possessed.
Schedule:
Full-time position, including nights, weekends, holidays, and emergency response during system failures or inclement weather.
- NH Wastewater Treatment Grade II
- NH Water Treatment Grade I
- NH Water Distribution Grade I
- Valid New Hampshire Driver’s License with clean history
- Ability to perform physical labor in varying weather conditions
- Strong work ethic and ability to work independently
- Municipal Water/Wastewater Facility experience
