Floor Staff – Starting Pay $17.00 per Hour – Part-Time – Available Until 12am

Floor Staff team members are classified based on individual theatre needs and/or employee availability as variable hour employees whose primary responsibility is ensuring our guests receive exceptional service. Floor Staff may be scheduled to work the Concession Stand—where it is both concession and ticket sales—or as an Usher.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Operate POS system, manage cash drawer, credit cards, travelers’ checks, gift cards, and redeemed coupons; maintain concession stock inventory.
  • Upsell/suggestive sell Premium Viewing Experience (3D, RPX) and Unlimited program.
  • Ensure tickets are sold in accordance with the MPAA rating system and company policy.
  • Promote the Unlimited program.
  • Operate, prepare, and clean all concession related equipment.
  • Comply with all local, state, and federal food safety laws.
  • Abide by all federal and state laws regarding breaks and/or meal periods.
  • Maintain required alcohol certification and training where applicable.
  • Read and understand training materials covering sexual harassment and discrimination.
  • Respond to phone calls and questions from guests in a manner consistent with our guest service philosophy.
  • Tear tickets and direct patrons to their auditoriums.
  • Inspect backpacks and packages when applicable.
  • Manage crowd control and assist guests in finding seats in auditoriums when necessary.
  • Enforce MPAA rating system.
  • Conduct in-theatre inspections to monitor picture and sound quality, watch for film and content theft, and help maintain a safe quality environment within the auditoriums.
  • Report to management any problems, discrepancies, or unusual situations that arise at the theatre.
  • Perform in-auditorium concession auxiliary sales as directed by management.
  • Clean auditoriums at the end of scheduled shows and maintain clean restrooms, lobby area, hallways, and other areas outside of the auditorium.
  • Monitor the cleanliness and operation of theatre vending equipment.
  • Assist with all opening and closing duties as assigned by management.
