Residential Counselor

Overview

NFI North is seeking a 2nd shift Direct Care Counselor at our 12-bed Adult Transitional Housing Program in Bradford, NH. This program is a residential treatment and day program with a progressive reputation of providing comprehensive clinical, vocational services and life skills for adults living with mental illness that are seeking independent living. Many of our participants obtain apartments and go to college with the support of our staff team.

Location:

Bradford, New Hampshire

• Supervise the daily activities of participants, providing ongoing support, guidance and role modeling.
• Facilitate participant improvement in personal responsibility, social skills, medication monitoring and administration, community living skills and behavior.

• Bachelor’s degree and/or two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience with client population.
