Salary: $25.00 – $35.00 per hour.

Hours:

1st shift 7:00 am – 3:30 pm, Monday–Friday.

Job Objective

Performs a variety of mechanical duties to adjust, troubleshoot, repair, maintain, install, and rebuild special‑purpose industrial machinery and support equipment. Assures the reliability of all production equipment in support of operational business goals.

Responsibilities
  • Perform necessary repairs and adjustments to systems and components to ensure the proper operation of production machinery and equipment.
  • Analyze, diagnose, and troubleshoot problems, determine the root cause, and make repairs. Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on equipment as assigned.
  • Operate drill presses, lathes, milling machines, sheet‑metal brakes, shears, and other equipment used in fabrication or modification of machine parts and guarding.
  • Experience with CNC troubleshooting, mild programming, and schematic navigation; applicable to Mazak, HAAS, Robert E Morse and others.
  • Work from mechanical drawings and schematics; read and interpret hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical schematics and drawings.
  • Analyze and troubleshoot programmable logic controllers, input and output devices using ladder logic; collaborate with Engineering to determine root cause and corrective actions.
  • Train and mentor less experienced maintenance staff.
  • Follow all safety rules, practices, and established company guidelines.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the manager.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent and 3–5 years of experience.
  • Mechanical experience on various systems, such as pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, and controls systems.
  • Ability to make decisions and plan ahead.
  • Proficient in arithmetic with all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals; extensive knowledge of machine electronics.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions; strong problem‑solving skills.
  • Service‑oriented with strong communication skills.
  • Capable of determining, recommending, and implementing process improvements.
  • Cooperative and diplomatic.
  • Strong attention to detail.
