Position: Welder Class B
Shift: Tuesday - Friday 6am-4pm
Starting Pay: $21-$24/hr
EnSight Solutions is currently seeking Class B welders with experience in Stainless Steel. We are looking for dedicated, hard-working people seeking career opportunities. This position is ideal for someone with at least 1-year TIG Stainless welding experience.
This position requires someone that has a willingness to learn the art of welding and has the motivation to grow within the department. To move to the next level, progression will be at the manager's discretion, in addition to passing the skills test for the next level. Team members must remain in the current class for a minimum of 90 days.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Basic TIG welding.
- Blueprint reading and lay out parts for jobs.
- Fabricate small parts for equipment and weld them out.
- Operator forklift: willingness to learn.
- Understand and follow all company procedures for safety.
- Basic grinding/Deburr.
- Discern quality of parts and materials used in production.
- Maintain the tools used to create products.
- Keep a clean and well-maintained workspace.
- High School Diploma or GED preferred, not required.
- Tech School; or relevant experience (6 Months or more)
- Must be able to read a tape measure; preferred.
- Proficiency using hand and power tools in a safe manner.
- Must know how to use PPE for this job and show consistency with it.
- TIG and MIG experience; need to be proficient in one area and have some knowledge of the other. A willingness to learn the other skill is a must.
Skills and Abilities
- Knowledge of and ability to follow basic safety practices.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical actions such as squatting, reaching, standing for long periods of time, and lifting and carrying products.
- Must be able to interact professionally, appropriately, and courteously with customers, co-workers, and other outside parties.
No travel required.
