Production Operator

Production Operator role at Infiltrator Water Technologies (Decentralized Wastewater Treatment Solutions).

Headquartered in Old Saybrook, CT, Infiltrator Water Technologies is a leading provider of engineered plastic chambers, synthetic aggregates, tanks, and wastewater treatment systems for onsite/decentralized wastewater and storm water management. Most products are manufactured from recycled plastic. Founded in 1987, we operate in the US and Canada with 8 manufacturing plants, dedicated sales and corporate teams. • Manufacture on various production equipment and perform manual operations as required.
• Sew geo and fiber product around extruded pipe.
• Change/replace fabric rolls and thread.
• Stack and organize products into racks.
• Operate extrusion and injection molding machines as needed.
• Complete TPM or routine maintenance, as required.
• Produce quality product and perform random quality checks.
• Collaborate with fellow team members to maintain operations.
• Maintain a World Class operation with emphasis on employee safety.

• High school diploma preferred.
• Basic math skills, including the ability to read measurements.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Experience is preferred, but training may be provided. Familiarity with extrusion/injection molding technology and basic Lean Manufacturing principles is a plus but not required.

• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to take direction and work well with others.
• Ability to work under deadlines and in a fast-paced environment.
• Concentration and accuracy in tasks.
• Adaptability to change and willingness to take on additional tasks.
• Ability to work in a non-temperature controlled, busy manufacturing environment.
• Lift up to 50 lbs and follow all safety regulations.
