Blake Equipment is part of the largest national wholesaler, a division of Headwater Companies, specializing in water equipment components for residential, commercial, and irrigation systems.

Blake Equipment is looking for a CNC Operator proficient with a CNC lathe and other machining equipment. Responsibilities include maintaining the CNC lathe, producing threaded pipe, repairing and replacing components on CNC machines, Band Saw, and other machines. The operator may also cut pipe with a band saw as specified by customers.

• Maintain cleanliness of warehouse and machinery
• Pull parts for orders following SOP (Standard Operating Procedures)
• Operate and run CNC lathe threading
• Cut and process well casement pipe
• Operate front‑end loader (if required)
• Use forklift/pallet jacks to move materials, parts, and finished products; load/unload trucks
• Perform preventive maintenance before operating machinery
• Lift 50 lbs. repeatedly throughout an eight‑hour workday
• Stand and work for extended periods during work hours
• Machine pipe to specifications according to work orders, meeting branch quality control requirements
• Use precision measuring tools in accordance with shop requirements
• Interact with customers professionally
• Use band saw/skill saw to create finished product
• Perform other related duties as needed

• Good reading and writing skills
• Ability to conduct job duties with minimal supervision
• Ability to read, understand, and calculate fractional dimensions
• Operate forklift/pallet jack safely
• Communicate and work well with others
• Operate horizontal CNC lathe and Band Saw accurately and safely
• Use various hand and power tools
• Consistently produce quality work
• Strong organizational and time‑management skills
• Apply common sense to follow written, oral, or diagram instructions
• Apply problem‑solving techniques to moderately complex issues
• Operate front‑end loader (if trained)
• Minor welding experience (preferred)
• CDL license (preferred)

• Regularly sit or talk/meet
• Regularly stand or walk
• Lift and/or move up to 50 pounds regularly
• Use hands to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms
• Climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
• Occasionally lift or move more than 50 pounds
• Occasionally sit

Hours:

Monday to Friday 7:00 am – 5:00 pm with seasonal overtime, daily and on weekends. Pay: $26.00 – $29.00 per hour.
