This position has primary responsibility to support the manufacturing processes for the given area. The role requires strict adherence to cGMPs, established manufacturing practices and procedures, and compliance with quality regulations and guidelines.
The Manufacturing Technician will be expected to work for extended periods of time in Grade C and Grade D cleanroom areas and follow all relevant gowning, safety, and quality policies. When not working in cleanroom manufacturing areas, technicians may be expected to perform tasks such as:
- Document and logbook reviews
- Keeping up to date on trainings
- Supporting other ad‑hoc requests as needed
Incumbent will be expected to work in a fast‑paced environment where priorities can change quickly, while adhering to our cGMP processes and documentation standards.
In the cleanroom areas may require wearing: hairnet, beard cover, frocks/coveralls, shoe covers, snood, face mask, sterile gloves, and following GMP processes at all times.
Prohibited materials in cleanroom areas may include food, drink, gum, jewelry, cosmetics, nail acrylics, perfume/cologne, and personal cell phones.
Role- Week 1: 7 AM‑7 PM Thursday, Friday, Saturday
- Week 2: 7 AM‑7 PM Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday
- The first 3‑4 weeks will be training in our “bootcamp” for Manufacturing Technicians. Schedule will be Monday‑Friday 8 AM‑4 30 PM, until transition to Back‑End Days schedule
Reports to:
Manufacturing Supervisor
- Product manufacturing and product manufacturing support activities
- Completion of routine documentation associated with the manufacture of product
- Support in‑process activities and product development when instructed by supervisor
- Incorporate pre‑planned process improvements / cost reduction program into manufacturing
- Perform area equipment and process validations in accordance with validation procedures
- Perform in‑process product testing in accordance with standard procedures
- Support manufacturing activities in other departments as instructed by supervisor
- Performs all job duties and responsibilities in a compliant and ethical manner and in accordance with all applicable healthcare laws, regulations and industry codes
- Incorporates the Novo Nordisk Way and 10 Essentials in all activities and interactions with others

Certifications:
High School diploma or Associates Degree or equivalent with a minimum of three (3) years’ experience in relevant manufacturing preferred or Bachelors’ Degree in a science discipline with zero (0) years’ experience - Knowledge of cGMP operations preferable
- The ability to understand and execute established written instructions is essential
