Machine Operator; TAPS - 2nd Shift

Join a team of professionals where you will be responsible for set up, utilizing, and operating assigned lathe, mill, and/or balance CNC machines and supporting machine procedures for the prototyping and production of machined parts. Starting pay is $21/hour and we offer a 15% shift differential when working on 2nd shift!

• Performing set-up and operation of assigned lathe, mill and/or balance machines
• Performing in process measurements using micrometer, dial indicator, and calipers
• Adjusting machining process based on results of inspection to ensure parts meet specification
• Working from process sheets, engineering drawings or specifications, sketches and written or oral instructions to machine various products
• Performing routine preventative maintenance for CNC equipment
• Working in a fast‑paced, high volume team environment
• Supporting and maintaining overall shop efficiency by keeping work areas clean and safe
• Demonstrating reliability, dependability, and safety‑oriented work

• High School diploma or GED equivalent
• Experience in a manufacturing/production environment preferred
• Experience running CNC machines (lathe, mill and balance) helpful
• Basic understanding of MS Office:
  Outlook, Word, and Excel desired
• Knowledge of measuring equipment helpful
• Good math skills
• Ability to follow instructions carefully
• Good interpersonal, communication and organization skills
