A dedicated support professional is needed for a full-time opportunity assisting 5th-grade students with complex medical requirements in an educational setting. This interim assignment provides an essential service, offering both classroom and transportation care. As a vital member of the schools medical support team, you’ll play a key role in maintaining a safe and supportive environment for students needing enhanced assistance.

• Includes bus riding duties as part of daily responsibilities

Key

Qualifications:

• Active LNA license required
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Certified Nurse Assistant credentials strongly preferred
• Experience providing care for elementary-aged children, particularly 5th-grade students with complex medical needs
• Previous work in a 2:1 student-caregiver ratio is highly valued
• Confidence with bus transportation coverage, ensuring student safety during transit
• Adaptability and reliability in a dynamic school environment

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized nursing care and support to assigned students throughout the school day
• Safely assist and supervise during bus rides, managing healthcare needs while in transit
• Collaborate with educators, school nurses, and families to provide consistent care
• Maintain accurate documentation of student health activities and incident reports
• Respond promptly to medical situations and follow established protocols
• Foster a positive, inclusive atmosphere for students with specialized care requirements
