Position Summary:We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Quality Control Parts Screener
. This entry-level position involves visual inspection and sorting of manufactured parts to ensure they meet quality standards. The role offers comprehensive training and the opportunity for growth within the quality control department.
Visually inspect parts for defects using go/no-go gauges and microscopes.
Sort rejected parts from acceptable ones, maintaining an average inspection rate of 1,000 parts per hour.
Accurately count and record rejected parts, adjusting batch paperwork accordingly.
Complete rejection documentation as required.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Adhere to company ISO quality program, procedures, and safety and environmental policies.
Collaborate with the Quality Team to resolve inspection questions.
Provide coverage for Batch or Final Inspection roles as needed after training.
Qualifications:High school diploma or GED preferred.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to utilize a microscope for detailed inspections.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Flexibility and adaptability to changing tasks and responsibilities.
Capability to follow written, draft, and verbal instructions.
Willingness to undergo in-house training.
Reliable transportation to the Pittsfield, NH location.
