The State of New Hampshire, Department of Transportation, has multiple seasonal vacancies for Engineering Aide positions within the following Bureaus:
- Bridge Design/Maintenance (Concord)
- Construction (statewide)
- Highway Maintenance (Concord, Enfield, Swanzey, Bedford, Durham)
- Planning and Community Assistance (Concord)
- Traffic (Concord)
- Transportation Systems Managment & Operations (Concord)
SUMMARY:
Performs routine and non-technical work in the field, office, or laboratory in connection with the investigation, location, design, construction, maintenance and operation of engineering projects; does related work as required.
YOUR EXPERIENCE COUNTS!
Each additional year of approved formal education may be substituted for one year of required work experience and/or each additional year of approved work experience may be substituted for one year of required formal education.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
Graduation from high school, G.E.D. or its equivalent.
Experience:
No experience required.
License/Certification:
Applicant must possess a valid driver’s license and access to transportation for use in statewide travel. The applicant’s Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) must meet the minimum standards established by the hiring agency.
Special Requirements:
All accountabilities must be performed in accordance with State and Department rules and policies, including risk management, safety and environmental standards, regulations and administrative orders.
