    Job Description

    Seeking several Field Service Boiler/Burner/Controls Technicians. Experience is a plus; we are willing to train apprentices. The role requires a positive attitude, solution‑oriented problem solving, pride in work, and teamwork. As factory‑authorized service technicians, we demonstrate professionalism and capability to support our equipment. World‑class customer service and efficiency are our goals.

    Essential Functions
    • Hands‑on ability for combustion tuning and analysis, and troubleshooting for burners ranging .5 to 30 MMBTU input
    • Factory start‑up and commissioning of various C&I thermal equipment, including hydronic boilers, high‑ and low‑pressure steam systems, firetubes, industrial water‑tubes, steam turbines, heat exchangers, and snow‑melt systems
    • Boiler room analyses for reliability and efficiency improvements
    • Understanding of hot water and steam boiler support equipment: deaerators, feed systems, blowdown systems, economizers, and waste heat recovery
    • Understanding of wiring diagrams, electrical, controls, and instrumentation
    • Burner upgrades/conversions
    • Advanced burner control upgrades/conversions
    • Implementation of energy efficiency measures
    • Technical report writing

    Responsibilities / Expectations
    • Must hold or be able to maintain a state of New Hampshire Gas Fitters License
    • Perform scheduled & emergency maintenance/repair of equipment and associated components
    • Perform installation of equipment at customer sites and pre‑installation assistance
    • Must be available for “On Call” 24‑hour emergency service rotation; additional compensation and overtime/ double‑time provided
    • Night and weekend work sometimes required; advance notice provided and flexibility accommodated
    • Must develop a high level of customer service skills and respond quickly to service calls with good time management and planning
    • Must be motivated, fast‑paced personality with a strong work ethic
    • Must work effectively with little or no supervision once trained
    • Able to read, write and possess good oral communication skills in English; other languages a plus
    • Computer proficiency for required reports
