Position Overview
Responsible for pick-up and delivery between Service Centers and customers, ensuring timely, safe, and professional service. This includes manual lifting, using carts or dollies, and operating straight trucks.

Key Responsibilities- Operate straight trucks and perform daily safety inspections.
- Ensure delivery schedules are met and provide excellent customer service, including soliciting new business.
- Secure freight with pallets, straps, and ropes; load and unload trucks.
- Communicate with dispatch regarding delays and issues.
- Complete documentation, reports, and freight charges accurately.
- Handle freight using motorized/manual equipment like forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Follow safety, hazardous materials, and legal regulations.
- Valid Class B CDL with hazardous materials and tank endorsements.
- Minimum one year of recent experience operating similar vehicles or completion of Fed Ex Driver Development Course.
- Must be 21+ years old with a clean Motor Vehicle Record.
- Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift up to 100 pounds, read route schedules, and work independently or in a team.
- Indoor and outdoor work in various weather conditions.
- Exposure to noise, dust, fumes, and hazardous materials per DOT regulations.
- Flexibility in working hours based on operational needs.
