The facility is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Psychiatrist to join its expanding behavioral health team in New Haven, CT
.
This full-time, permanent position offers a balanced schedule with outpatient-focused responsibilities and limited call coverage. The psychiatrist will collaborate closely with a dedicated team of clinicians, including nurse practitioners, therapists, and case managers, to deliver high-quality, evidence-based mental health care in a supportive and collegial environment.

Essential Position Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and provide ongoing medication management.
- Diagnose and treat a broad spectrum of psychiatric conditions using evidence-based practices.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary care teams to ensure integrated and coordinated care.
- Provide clinical guidance and consultation to behavioral health staff as needed.
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation within the electronic medical record (EMR).
- Participate in team meetings, peer reviews, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Engage in continuing education and remain current on advancements in psychiatry and behavioral health.
Education: MD or DO degree from an accredited medical institution.
Licensure & Certification: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry; eligible for Connecticut medical licensure.
Experience: Prior clinical experience preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply.
