A K-12 school in New Haven, CT is seeking a part-time school psychologist for a full semester contract. This role requires providing direct psychological services to students from kindergarten through 12th grade. The position involves approximately 12-15 hours per week, working onsite with a potential need for occasional travel.
Key responsibilities include:
- Administering psychological evaluations tailored to student needs
- Preparing and presenting evaluation reports during Planning and Placement Team (PPT) meetings
- Collaborating with educators, parents, and staff to support student development and success
- Maintaining compliance with state licensure and school policies
Qualifications and experience:
- Active Connecticut licensure and certification as a school psychologist
- Proven experience delivering psychological services in a school-based setting
- Ability to work effectively with K-12 students across diverse backgrounds
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with comfort participating in Zoom interviews for the selection process
- Flexibility to accommodate occasional travel requirements
