The Yale School of Management (SOM) is soliciting applications for a full-time, tenure-track faculty position in Economics at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor. Applicants in all areas of Economics will be considered.
QualificationsThis position requires a Ph.D. or equivalent degree in Economics or a directly related field. Individuals who are currently ABD must be awarded their degree before December 31, 2027.
Appointment termsThis is a full-time, tenure-track position located at the Yale School of Management in New Haven, Connecticut. Appointments will be made for the academic year, beginning July 1, 2027. The initial term is typically three years. Individuals with little to no prior work experience in a full-time faculty position will be considered at the Assistant Professor rank, but more experienced applicants who have held a full-time ladder-track faculty role for a few years may be eligible for hire as Associate Professor (tenure-track) provided they meet the University’s qualifications for that rank.
