Overview
New Haven Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation is seeking part time and per diem dietary aides.
This is casual as needed position
Rate of pay is $18.50 per hour
Weekly pay period
Responsibilities- Sweep and mop floors and keep refrigerators, freezers and storerooms clean and in neat order
- Daily cleaning of stoves, steam jacketed kettle, all purpose cooker, steamers, mixers, slicing machine, carts, pots, pans and other food service equipment
- Transport food carts to resident dining areas and pick up resident trays to return to dietary department
- Portion foods for residents
- Set up trays and food for residents using food service production sheets and menus for residents of special diets
- Prepare in-between meal nourishment or other foods for tray service
- Perform all responsibilities in accordance with established dietary policies/procedures and safety/sanitation codes and regulations
- Experience in nursing facility is a plus!
