Reporting to the Director of Resource Discovery Services (RDS), the MSU Manager oversees a unit that performs data extraction and enrichment, schema mappings and transformations, research data information management, and development of linked data services. The unit’s work involves a high level of collaboration with colleagues across the library and broader communities in developing and maintaining data standards, practices, and tools.

- Collaborates with colleagues across the library and broader communities to develop and maintain data standards, practices, and tools.
- Provides supervision and mentorship and plays a key role in building the metadata community of practice at Yale.
- Participates in regional, national, and international professional activities to contribute to the profession and to grow professionally as a librarian.
- As part of the Resource Discovery Services leadership team, participates in the development and implementation of department- and library-wide goals and initiatives.
