$71,300.00 - $

Client Technologies Administrator 2, supporting FAS and SEAS is responsible for:

  • Provide on-site administration and support for domain specific applications and computational hardware and software used in faculty research which includes: desktops, laptops, server class computers, storage arrays, and tape backup libraries in laboratory and workgroup environments.
  • Coordinate service with IT professionals from other units.
  • Prepare documentation (procedural, planning, informational for team, as well as end users) to support functions specific to departments.
  • Coordinate new AI application projects within both FAS and SEAS and ITS. Both providing instruction and insight to departments as well as creating the applications as needed.
Principal Responsibilities
  • Responsible for the planning and delivery of customer support services including installation, consultation, troubleshooting, user assistance, and training.
  • Resolve routine to moderately complex end-user issues in a timely manner through established protocol and troubleshooting; elevate as necessary.
  • Provide guidance and explain policies and procedures to end-users.
  • Install and configure software for network connectivity, backups, server access, etc. on user systems.
