Labor and Employment / Commercial Litigation Associate

Our client, an Am Law 200 law firm, is seeking an associate with a minimum of 3 years of labor and employment experience to be part of its Labor & Employment Practice Area, with a secondary affiliation with the Commercial Litigation Practice Area. Preference for candidates who also possess said complex commercial litigation experience.

Candidates must be licensed to practice in Massachusetts and Connecticut; a dual bar in New York State or willingness to seek admission in New York is preferred. Candidates with post‑law school federal clerkships (but fewer than 3 full years of practice) may also be considered.

• JD from an accredited law school
• Current admission to practice law in Connecticut
• Superior verbal and writing skills
• Demonstrated abilities to work directly with clients and to develop and execute service strategies
• Minimum of 3 years of litigation experience with strong preference for experience in all aspects of labor and employment law
• Strong preference for additional complex commercial litigation experience

• Superior interpersonal skills
