This is your chance to join a company with a strong international footprint, advanced manufacturing processes, and a culture that values continuous improvement and innovation.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and optimize global and domestic supply chain operations, including blanket orders, logistics coordination, payments, and customs compliance.
- Evaluate and select suppliers, negotiate competitive pricing and delivery terms, and build strong, lasting vendor partnerships.
- Oversee day-to-day purchasing functions—placing orders, managing vendor communications, expediting deliveries, and resolving any delays.
- Monitor and maintain optimal inventory levels; respond to purchase requests and ensure alignment with production schedules and planning requirements.
- Collaborate closely with engineering and manufacturing teams to ensure purchased materials meet technical specifications and quality standards.
- Analyze supplier performance, address quality and delivery discrepancies, and drive continuous improvement through corrective actions.
- Maintain accurate purchasing records and documentation, while ensuring departmental KPIs consistently exceed the 90% benchmark.
- Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 standards and contribute to ongoing process improvements within the supply chain function.
- Travel domestically and internationally as needed to support supplier development, audits, and operational alignment.
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, engineering, business, or a related field.
- 5–7 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, specifically involving mechanical machining or fabrication.
- Strong ability to read and interpret mechanical engineering drawings.
- Proven negotiation skills and experience in international logistics and procurement.
- Proficient in ERP systems and Microsoft 365 tools.
- Knowledge of ISO procedures, cost control, and inventory management best practices.
- Experience with mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems is a plus.
- Must be able to sit, stand, bend, and lift up to 35 lbs.
- Work conditions may include hot, cold, or manufacturing environments.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to travel on short notice both domestically and internationally.
- A valid passport is required.
