Help End Alzheimer’s - Lead Recruitment & Outreach for “Do What You Love to End ALZ”
Join to apply for the Help End Alzheimer’s - Lead Recruitment & Outreach for “Do What You Love to End ALZ” role at Alzheimer's Association Connecticut Chapter
The Connecticut Chapter of the Alzheimer's Association depends on the commitment and dedication of its volunteers. We have a variety of opportunities to offer volunteers throughout the state of Connecticut. Volunteers help us run special events, work in our offices, deliver education and programs, act as advocates and speakers in the community, staff our helplines and run Support Groups, as examples.
Our volunteers are passionate and enthusiastic members of our team without whom we could not work towards an end to the Alzheimer's disease.
Are you a natural networker with a passion for making a difference? The Alzheimer’s Association is looking for dynamic, well-connected individuals to serve as Volunteer Recruiters for our Do What You Love to End ALZ™ campaign. This is more than a volunteer role—it’s a chance to lead grassroots growth and double our impact by recruiting new fundraisers and expanding our reach into vibrant communities like pickleball, fitness, arts, and beyond.
As a Volunteer Recruiter, you’ll be trained and supported to become a community ambassador. You’ll help others turn their passions into purpose by encouraging them to host their own fundraisers and join the movement to end Alzheimer’s.
Ideal for individuals with experience in:
- Sales, marketing, or community outreach
- Public speaking and networking
- Event planning or grassroots organizing
Responsibilities include:
- Opening your network to recruit new fundraising participants
- Connecting with local businesses, clubs, and influencers (e.g., pickleball players, paddle manufacturers)
- Tabling at events, giving presentations, and attending networking functions
- Hosting recruitment events targeted to specific communities or interest groups
- Inspiring others to take action and support the Alzheimer’s Association mission
We’ll provide all the training and materials you need to succeed. You bring the energy, connections, and drive to grow this movement. Let’s build something powerful—together.
