- Ensure all nursing staff follow their job descriptions and maintain patient confidence.
- Monitor confidential information processing and protect patient operations.
- Provide information to patients and the healthcare team, answering questions and requests.
- Schedule and assign nursing staff; follow up on work results to meet patient care requirements.
- Perform walking rounds to guarantee the highest level of resident care.
- Assess residents upon admission and periodically as conditions change.
- Obtain and implement physician orders, checking for accuracy and completeness.
- Communicate between shifts regarding any changes in resident or patient conditions.
- Participate in facility surveys and inspections conducted by authorized government agencies.
- Plan, implement, and evaluate the clinical competencies and ongoing educational or orientation needs of staff.
- Ensure a sufficient number of nursing staff are available on each shift to maintain quality care.
- Current CT RN license.
- Experience in long‑term care is preferred.
- Supervisory experience required.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
