American Traveler is hiring an experienced Operating Room RN with a strong Ortho/Spine background or robotics experience for a Level I Trauma Center setting.

• Operating Room unit within a Short Term Acute Care, Level I Trauma Center hospital with 1,567 staffed beds
• Day shift (4x10 Hours) 7:00-13:30 or Evening shift (4x10 Hours) 13:00-23:30, with 5x8s 7a-3:30p also accepted
• No weekends and no call required
• Epic charting system used
• 1:1 patient ratio experience required

• Active or in-process CT (Compact) RN license required
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of OR experience required within specialty (1.5 years accepted with Level I Trauma or travel experience)
• Teaching hospital experience required
• Community Hospital, Trauma Level I, and Trauma Level II experience preferred
• Previous travel experience required
• Strong Ortho/Spine background or Robotics experience required
• 1 professional reference required
• Flu vaccine required with no declinations accepted
• COVID vaccine and booster required, with religious or medical exemptions only

• Provide perioperative nursing care across a wide range of surgical specialties including orthopedic, neurology, general surgery, robotics, vascular, urology, and more
• Scrubs provided by facility
• Travelers must be willing to participate in natural disaster or emergency response activities as needed
• Facility does not accept local candidates within a 75-mile radius of the hospital
• Former staff members must have been separated from the facility for at least 2 years to be eligible as a traveler
• Up to 7 days of RTO can be auto-approved
